I was at a good friends shop today and we were talking about new technologies in the motorcycle field. One of the things we can use when making prototype or developing new parts and accessories are 3d printers.. These little printers can be as inexpensive as a couple of grand. The more expensive ones can make larger and more durable pieces. In fact, he showed me a piece that actually is functioning on a motorcycle. Prototypes that would have cost alot more in money and time on CNC machines can be produced for much less on a 3d printer.
