Safety Recall 0150

When I was a kid, I would ride my Sportster all year round.  Even if it was cold, I would layer so many sweatshirts under a leather jacket I could hardly move my arms.  At the Dealer, I learned about heated gear and realized I could be warmer with less bulk.  So much more room is now available for packing now that I do not carry a ton of thermals and sweatshirts.  However, the electric gear has to work.  Harley's 98324-09VM Heated Jacket Liner has an issue with improperly crimped wires on the liner's connector to the heating element.  A recall for these Gerbings manufactured liners has been issued.  Check with your Dealer if you have one of these affected liners.
