Harley-Davidson Museum® Shop Class Workshop
Photographing Your Motorcycle
A new addition to our Harley-Davidson Museum® Shop Class offerings, these photography workshops, taught by professional photographer Colleen Swartz, are for amateur and pro photographers alike.Indoor and outdoor sessions are offered. Each will instruct participants how to photograph their own (and others’) motorcycles, and also how to improve general photographic skills overall. Participants will explore shutter speed, depth of field, texture, lighting, and many other techniques.
Photography equipment required for Shop Class Workshop: Photographing Your Motorcycle
• Digital Single-Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera (e.g., Pentax K-50, Canon EOS
Rebel series, Nikon D3100)
• Stock lens that came with your DSLR
• Tripod
Optional: If you have other lenses for your DLSR, feel free to bring them
as well.
Motorcycle ownership not required!
