The book that all vintage motorcycle enthusiasts have in their bookcase is Bruce Palmer's "How to Restore Your Harley Davidson". This book went over in great detail all the changes and evolution of Harley Davidson motorcycles through the years. I remember reading it for the first time with the then Early Model instructors at MMI. They would give me commentary on certain passages that they believed the authors erred. I miss Jim and Ross and their vast knowledge of these bikes. Second edition is now coming from Deb Palmer Publications.
