My Pa bobbed his bike in the 50s and here it is back to stock in the late 60s when he married my Mom. I bobbed it a few years ago and now its time to keep all the parts together.
As I start assembling the rear part of the hinge fender, I notice my Pop must have lost some of the fasteners. The one securing the left brace is the 47 and earlier fastener (stamped 1038) and the one on the right is a 48 and later fastener (stamped 1035). I guess over the years its hard to keep everything perfectly original when these bike are all about personalization and customization.
