These are a great answer to the custom bike builder that needs a lightweight battery or must  mount one in an unorthodox spot on the bike.  They are lithum iom, so they do need to 'wake up' and do not have the best of performance in extreme cold (kind of like your cell phone running slow when you are snowboarding).
