Next week starts this year's edition of the Cannonball Run. It takes place Sept 7-23, starting in Newburgh, New York and ends at Dudley Perkins HD in San Francisco, Ca. on Sept. 23. This year's race allows machines built before 1930, so I am seeing alot of J, JD and JDH models entered into the race. Talking to friends that are racing, I am learning of a lot of shops out there that specialize in this era motorcycle, like Competition Distributing in South Dakota and Replicant Metals in Pennsylvania.
