Open Recalls Never Expire

Harley-Davidson's latest tips and tricks addresses some of their warranty guidelines.  One of them is that any safety recall that is still open on a specific VIN, has no expiration.  I know this because I had an open recall campaign on my first Harley, my 90 XL, and I had the potentially faulty circuit breaker replaced......20 years later.
