Harley-Davidson Riding Academy

Harley-Davidson introduced the new Rider's Edge, "Riding Academy".  The big difference between this training program and the earlier one is the motorcycle.  Before, a Buell Blast was used.  Now, the new liquid cooled platform motorcycle is used, the Street.  The idea is that students continue using this bike, rather than the Blast being abandoned after the class is over.  The new Street is offered in a 500cc and 750cc displacement.

 From Harley's site:

Designed to Instill Confidence
There is nothing like the independence of the open road. Since its inception in 2000, Harley-Davidson’s rider training program has successfully trained more than 350,000 new riders with a premium Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)-approved rider training experience that guides students on their journey from the classroom to the street with an emphasis on building student confidence on their road to independence.
